HI!
We are 9 Slovenians who are going to the exchange with St. Petersburg (17.8- 24.8). But before that we will have 5 days which we would like to spend
in Estonia.
Our trip starts on Aug 9th an goes: Slovenia-Vienna-Brno- Ostrava- Katowice- Warszawa-Bialystok- Lithuania- Latvia- Estonia
Our plan is to visit islands Muhu, Saaremaa, Hiiumaa (11, 12.8.), city Talin (13.8.), Tartu and some interesting things on the way.
Do you have recommendations about the most interesting areas that we should visit? Does anybody knows where should we get the informations about
timetable, prices for ferryboat on the islands? Do you know some interesting internet links about Estonia, accomodation in camps?
Anybody interested in meeting us?

Eesti!
The ferry to Saaremaa and Muhu island which are connected by bridge goes several times a day, almost every hour. To Hiiumaa island also several times
a day but a little less regular than to Saaremaa. By the way there is also a boat connection between Saaremaa and Hiiumaa! But it doesn't go so
regular but still a few times a day, especially in summer.
Saaremaa is really beautiful to visit, Kuressaare is a beautiful small town, with ''castle'' You have a few windmills, a meteorite crater and a lot of
dirt roads. Muhu is not especially interesting but Hiiumaa is a big difference with Saaremaa, totally covered with forest, you should visit the light
house in the west end of the island, you'll have a magnificent view over the island and the Baltic Sea, there is also a nice coffee bar. And a lot of
beautiful nature. Saaremaa almost is like a wildpark, deers, wild pigs, fox's etc.
I'll be in Parnu around the 11th of August, doing summer language course. 11th will be the first day so it's hard to plan a appointment but you'll
pass Parnu anyway on your way up north.
Parnu is called the summer capital. the beach is really good when the weather is good!!

Hi!
According to our planns we are passing Parnu on thur. 12.8. And all 3 of the islands are our "primary target" in Estonia. We will see what the
schedule for ferrieds will be - maybe we should stop in Parnu to check that sandy beach... What would be the temperature of sea?
Thanks for the info!
Beside the islands we are planing to visit Tallinn and Tartu. Any recomendations about that from anybody?
Oh, and to get to Estonia we have to pass two more of the beautiful baltic states: Lithuania and Latvia (Lietuva and Latvija). On 11.8. we want to
visit Kur

Stash! hi! we will also be in St Petersburg from the 18th til the 21st August, as our visas have just come through. not on any egea exchange, just for
a holiday with my sister. Before this we will be in Helsinki and after in Estonia, i hope, i just need to keep saving!

the water will defenitely be warm enough it is more a matter of sunny or not weather. I could tell you more about Tartu and Tallinn when you arrive in
Eesti. Parnu itself has also e few interesting sights. Well i'll see you later....
If you'll arrive the 12th i'll be in Parnu for sure.
