Hee Willem,
in Oulu last March we met several people from Chisinau/ Kishinev/whatever and although most of them didn't speak much English they were definately
very nice... I've got the address of at least one of them (Dorin), if you want me to I can look it up for you,
greetings from just a few blocks away,
Geert

We are also going with 10 other people, but by bikes and we're planning to stay there a little bit longer (probably 3-4 weeks).
Maybe we will see there? There is not so many turisticall atractions, so ...
Anyway - success!

Wilem!
Do you have visas already?
If yes than tell me what kind of papers do they require? Did you need invitation from Moldova? How long does it takes in Brussels and how much does it
cost?
If not, when are you going to get them?

How much is it via eurocult?
I don't know yet if I need a visa at all. I've heard from Polish Ambasador that they're removing visas for poles from 1st of june, but that's not sure
yet. But Geert and Erika will need it anyway.
Are you in Utrecht? We'll see tonight at the party, we'll talk about it.

So probably we won't meet there. We will be still on our way biking somewhere in Romania. Hopefully we will arrive in moldova around 16th, but firs we
are going to Bielce (Balti). We'll spend there about a week and than going to Kiszyniew (chisinau) for another week or so. Than we're heading to
Comrat for another couple of days. So in total we'll spend in Moldova about 3 weeks and than biking back to Poland via romania, hungary and
slovakia.
Anyway, have fun there. I hope we'll see in Utrecht before you're leaving.
Have fun in Scotland and say hi to Pawel and Lorna from me.
Tot zins :)

hi willem,
did you have contact to Dorin, say hi to him from Thomas from Trier, Dorin gave leaflets about sights in Kishinev to members of every entity, which
was represented in Oulu. So, if you interested ask the 4 Finland-travellers from Utrecht about it, btw: Utrecht guys, did you take the moldavian vodka
which I forgot in the sauna place we stayed for the last night, a pity that I left it, I just hope you got it and enjoyed it,
take care,
Thomas

Hi all egeans !
I am glad to see that finally more egeans are interested to visit Moldova :)
Our entity EGEA-Moldova, founded in 1998 is still active and envolve several students and researchers.
We sent the information for EGEA database, but it still have not appeared on the website.
About travel to Moldova:
We can support you with any necessary help:
1. official invitation letters, if you need for the embassy.
But, like I know for EU citizens it is not obligatory. You can take a visa from Moldova Embassies (Brussel, Paris, Frankfurt, Bucharest...) and also
at the border with Romania.
Anyway you can specify that you are invited by EGEA-Moldova and State University of Moldova and make a geographical trip.
2. About accommodation:
You can find also a cheap hostels in Kishinau and some other cities, but as usual, where is very cheap there are no many conditions. In Kishinau
exists several good hotels, but prices are higher.
If you are not quite pretencious to conditions (I mean if it is question for a place to stay) I can disscusse at our next EGEA-Moldova meeting for the
possibility to organize a cheap accommodation in Kisinau.
In my village you are welcome to stay for free :) (it is 50 km from Kisinau).
We have some branches of association in the Gagauz Yeri (south) and in Hincesti. I will call them as well to ask for implication.
3. If you are interested, we can see your visits and program in Moldova like an exchange program in the frame of EGEA.
Please send me: your proposals, entity names, number and name of participants, period of visit, any other useful data.
4. One problem can be that several members of EGEA-Moldova during this summer will make trips to Romania, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Caucasus region.
But anyway some of us will remain in Kisinau.
5. You can write to new e-mail of EGEA-Moldova:
egea-moldova@mail.ru
take in consideration that some periods we are not able to check internet.
Greetings from Moldova,
Dorin

Wow!
That's great!
We'll be in touch via email.
Greetings. :)
Karol - 23-5-2004 at 20:48
Hi there!
That's really great news! I'm really keen of all the topics connected with Moldova. As Szczepan has already said - EGEA Krakow is going this summer to
Moldova to get all needed informations, to write a guidebook around this beautiful country. I hope we could do that in cooperation with EGEA Chisinau.
We've already been there 3 years ago but only for two weeks - however it was enough to fall in love with Moldova *;.
Dorin - 23-5-2004 at 22:34
Hi and Czeszcz Polski Kolegi !
I will try to see any opportunity to help from the part of EGEA-Moldova. Next week we will discuse and search for support.
Also, today I have anounced our friends from EGEA-Iasi, Romania, about your intention and program and they also will look to support your program.
keep in touch,
Dorin

def - 20-4-2005 at 22:10

There are some contact persons from your country. Look at:

I was mistaken on the previous message, 15th time not in my country, just 15th time, last year it was to Nitherlands, Two years ago it was to Ukraine.
