I think it's similar to the buildings of Antoni Gaudí in Barcelona. The Hundertwasserhaus was build by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. He was an artist
and designed a lot of buildings.

How was this place called, where you can get this famous food and wine?!

I'm exciting looking forward to visit Vienna,too!
I would like to know if there is a "Dance into the May" event in Austria like it is happening in Germany where a lot of people are walking around with
drinks to party spots and celebrate together!
Its always fun and we arrive at the end of april...

@linn: Nice idea. Maybe we find time to walk around in the green outskirts of the city (Kahlenberg e.g.) and combine it with a visit in a Heurigen
(wine tavern).
@jennes: Do you mean traditional dances around a May-tree? I'm afraid, this is nowehere to see in Vienna, only in the provinces of Austria.
--> maybe we can move even a bit further out of the city, where they have a May-tree (and Heurigen for sure).

I think Heurigen sounds just perfect!
Perhaps you´ll find another feminin person who´s intrested to visit Hanover. I´m sure it´s no problem to organise one more host. In this way we
could involve more participants.
Markus would count to the hannover list and your statistic would look better.
Anyhow, I´m convinced that Alex could represent the feminin part of vienna perfectly alone .

Hm, unfortunately our alumni member Bilge (Bille) isn´t able to come to vienna because she has an importand meeting.  But she defenetly wants to join the re-exchange. So if somebody else is interested to
come to hanover - just tell us.
In either case, i think we´ll have no problems if the number of participants doesn´t fit exactly?!! If it´s necessary you get Markus back !

Yes, I have some news: the weather in Mallorca got worse, but nevertheless I had a great cycling tour through the mountains today

Hey... i have a question: Hannover is written with one "n" or with 2?
Hanover or Hannover? That's the question... as the entity is named "Hannover" but all people from Hannover keep on writing "Hanover" ...

Hi everybody!
Just so that you know, I am also looking forward to the upcoming exchange in Vienna! Linn already posted my arrival and my depature dates. Therefore I have a
question: since I'll be arriving on Wednesday afternoon and leaving on Monday night I need a bed for 2 extra nights. Is it possible to stay at one of
your guys' place? Can you keep that in mind when you're choosing the exchange couples? If not, I still have some backup friends in Vienna to stay at.

Hey "Rock City"!
We were thinking about the program in Vienna beside party...
What would you prefer (we don't know if it's possible at present)?
1. to visit the UNO-City with a guided tour (and hopefully a discussion with an ambassador or sth. like that). It would be probably in english
2. to visit the "Österreichische Raumordnungskonferenz" with our special guide Lole and a visit by the IOM (International Organization for
Migration) also with a guided tour
New Infos concerning our departure: We will leave hannover on Sunday at 22:26. It is much later than we thought by planning the program. So you have a
little bit more work... Hopefully we have good weather

As I already told Alex, i woultd like to have a guided tour in the UNO city. But i think, Alex, you have to plan a special program, because i´ll
stay a few days longer... . So please give more support to the others attitude.
If we get good weather in hanover, our program hopefully will be excellent. Otherwise im sure it´ll work too! A bit more time isn´t bad, ...so much ideas ... ! (Don´t have a look, Lole!)
We won´t go to chelsea??! Markus could change his haicolour!

I think we will go to Chelsea but then I can't guide Markus anymore. Don't want to get troubles with the securities.
Most probably I will be able to come to Hanover only on SAT early morning. Until FRI afternoon I've to attend an ESPON meeting in Prague.
So I'd be happy if you offer a dense programme for SAT & SUN. THU & FRI you can take it easy.

They have only lectures before 12h. Would it be possible on Thursday??

Oh, aha, you mean a visit of the UNO with a special focus. I only attenden guided tours through the UNO where they tell about the organization in
general. Would be very interesting to visit a special department.

Everybody have a voting right and I think we should only take this forum for coordination (because the weather is good and I have no desire to make it
too complicate).
I agreed with the guy from the visitor service, that we have two days to decide but he suggest the CTBTO at 11 o'clock or a programm with a guided
tour (13h), a lecture IAEA (14h) and a lecture UNIDO (15:15 in english) in the afternoon.
It is important to know, when the group from hanover can be sure in Vienna on thursday ???

From my point of view, english ist no problem - it shouldn´t be one!
We will be in vienna on thursday, because the main group will start their big tour on wednesday evening. But im not sure how tired they are in the
mornig and if it´s the favorite day for such a program...
I´ll ask later when we´ve our meeting this evening...

Most of them were not sure if thursday would be the best day for this event. I think we should calculate four or three hours for them to sleep, after
9 hours driving...
perhaps it´s possible to start later...?! 13h would be ok...

Indeed but in such a very important case I'd try to leave earlier.
5min ago I was informed that there will be a meeting on THU, time not clear now.
@alexa: If it's also possible to get a meeting at UNO on another day, I think it would make it easier. Only imagine if there's some delay with the
arrival of Hanover.

Yeah, in a few days we get the exchange started!
Little practical info:
As the weather forcast predicts changing conditions (maybe even little rainy periods but in general dry/sunny) please pack clothes/shoes for those
different conditions. Hopefully we mainly have to wear sunglasses though.
