The program will also include a large “Jobs in Geography” career center, an international networking reception, exhibits showcasing the latest
scholarly publications and advanced geographic technologies, and the latest employment opportunities. Many field trips will also explore the rich
cultural and physical geography of Washington and the surrounding region.

Every EGEAn can order a free copy of ESRI's 1-year ArcView Student Licence software, though some countries have to pay a minor administration and
shipping fee. This is how it will work:
1. As an EGEAn you contact the #1 contact person of your entity. Tell him/her that you are interested in the ESRI software. Then give him/her the
following data:
• your full name
• faculty name
• home address
• student ID#
2. The #1 contact persons gather this information and when they have a list with a minimum of 10 persons he/she can order the software at the local
distributor. The contatcpersons recieved a U2U with the file needed to find the contact person you should direct to, at your own local distributor.
3. Furthermore the #1 contact person should contact the local distributor to find out if there is a fee for each license. It is the responsibility of
the contact person to collect the money from the members and pay the distributor. The payment has to happen before the shipment of the software to the
university will take place.
4. The contact person sends the order list (including his/her own data) with a general address where the software can be shipped to. Be aware of the
fact that the distributor will check with the European EGEA secretariat if this person really is the #1 contact person.
5. After sending the list, the order will be reviewed and the package with all the licences will be send to one general adress, provided by the #1
contact person. It can take up to 2 weeks before you will receive the software. He/she will be responsible for distributing the software to the
EGEAns.
if there are any questions, please post them on the secretariat forum or contact Jelle
by U2U!
