EGEA Wien is the organiser of the 20th EGEA Western Regional Congress and will present all the information you need to know about the upcoming WRC on this website. First of all we give a short overview about the most important facts and figures:

The Congress location is situated in Steinach am Brenner, a village of approx. 3000 inhabitants in the “Wipptal”-valley, 25 km south of Innsbruck.

The Event will take place from Tuesday 6th to Sunday 11th of April 2010.

We provide 80 places for participants, 16 for workshop leaders and 8 for organisers.



During the congress approx. 100 young European geographers will approach the overall theme via thematic workshops, excursions in the surroundings of Steinach, lectures by invited experts and a soft-skill training-session. Additionally, a diversified frame program will offer the chance to meet and socialize and also to get to know the ‘Austrian way of life’.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
The participant fee will be 95€ and covers accommodation, full meals and excursions.
