We want to invite you to the next Western Regional Congress 2010 which takes place in Tyrol and is concerned with an important area in Europe – the
fusion of societies and nature in the Alps.
The XX. WRC is themed "Living in the Alps – challenges and solutions for a vulnerable world"!
Our goal is an interdisciplinary endeavour to find solutions to diverse and actual challenges concerning the region.
By keeping the key concepts of the AC 2009 - Innovation and Professionalism - in our mind, we want to combine techniques with projects and concepts,
combine physical geography with human, environmental and regional geography, geoinformatics and other fields related to them.
There will be eight workshops dealing with different themes and challenges.
Come with us to the Alps and experience the natural scenery and the extraordinary "lebensraum" of this mountain
region!
